Changing lives for Jesus

Giving

We are so grateful for the generosity of all who support our church to help achieve our pastoral aims through their prayers, the time given to fund raising and to those who donate.

In 2022 we raised nearly £72,000, and two thirds was from the donations we received. This enabled us to pay for running costs of our church and church hall, as well as completing the fund raising required to pay for the electric refurbishment of the church carried out in 2023. Our tithe last year went to Mission Possible UK (£2705)

Our Christingle contribution went to the Children’s society (£175).

In 2023 we donated £131.74 to the DEC earthquake fund in 2023 and continue to support Exeter Diocese through our Common Fund contribution.

One off donations or additions

In addition to our service collections, donors can now make one off contributions online. Donations can be made towards the general running of our church.

Alternatively, you may wish to contribute to our latest campaign aimed at improving our church visual display and sound quality. We have already purchased a new PC, enlarged screen and connectivity. We now aim to purchase high quality speakers, a loop system for those hard of hearing and the facilities required to improve the quality of the streaming of services to those unable to attend.

Regular donations

For those who attend our services in person or remotely, the best way to donate on a regular basis is to join the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS), which is a direct debit scheme that automatically reclaims the Gift Aid tax back for us if you are a taxpayer. But even if you do not pay any tax, this is still the simplest way for us to administer your giving. Givers can also choose to increase their giving annually in line with inflation. It is now even easier to set up with no complicated forms to fill in. All you need to do is go to our PGS landing page.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider gift aiding your donation. For every pound donated, we receive an additional 25p.
Please contact the church treasurer through the Church Office if you wish to receive any further advice on giving.
