Anything else?

Well we also meet on a Sunday and have a time of
discussion about the really BIG things, during the
Sunday service from 10-11 in St John’s Church Hall

Families, in whatever form they take, are at the heart of our Church and we pray for God’s blessing on your family. We recognise that in today’s society the family is under threat and we wish to do all we can to support your family. Within our Children and Youth Leadership team and within the wider Church family we have a wealth of experience working with families.

So please feel free to talk to any of us
about any issues that face you as a family in complete confidence. Whether this about how to pray as a family, or share faith with little ones, issues around education or development or behaviour. If we can’t answer your problem we are likely to be able to ‘signpost’ you in the direction of someone who can.

But most importantly we would love to pray for your family.
One of the new ventures we are planning for next year is a holiday club during the Easter holidays. Holiday Clubs are one of the ways in which the Church reaches primary aged children. As an outreach Holiday clubs have evangelised more people than Alpha! We are planning to run a holiday club called Showstoppers that has a theatrical theme. Every day, there’s the chance for children to act, dance, sing and paint, as they explore the stories of creation, David and Goliath, Daniel in the lions’ den, Jesus’ birth, and his crucifixion and resurrection. This undertaking will require a great deal of support from our church family as we will need group leaders, presenters, musicians, administrators and helpers

Please pray about the success of this undertaking and if you could devote some time to sharing the gospel with some of the children in our neighbourhood please speak to Paul or Cathy
