Rev.Chas Deacon will be leaving week commencing 18th January 2010 to go on a three month sabbatical. This takes him completely away from parish responsibilities for the full period until the middle of April. He has spent part of the time in India, but, if you should happen to see him out and about in the Shiphay area, please respect the purpose of his sabbatical; three months of rest, recuperation, reflection and study, totally free from parish responsibilities. Please do not even try to "just update him" on St.John's news.
